Please be aware that there are various Fraud / Phishing emails being sent with the subject line "Mashreq Online Banking: Ownership Authentication Guide" which does not pertain to Mashreq. You are advised not to respond or share any personal information by clicking on any of the links provided within such emails.

We wish to remind you that Mashreq will never contact you and seek your personal details such as account information, password etc at any time. Such information is only required for the normal Personal Internet Banking Sign On process.

At Mashreq we always work towards protecting your banking and transactional information. Protecting your financial information is a shared responsibility and we would urge you to exercise caution at all times while accessing your personal emails or using internet and mobile banking services. To ensure that you are always protected, please follow these guidelines:

1. If you receive an e-mail requesting your Internet Banking security details like PIN / Password or Account Number or authentication, please do not respond.
2. Whenever you use a link to access a website, be sure to check for the URL of the website and compare it with the original. We recommend that you type in the URL yourself whenever you access www.mashreqbank.com or bookmark / store the URL in your list of ‘Favorites’.
3. Delete suspicious e-mails without opening them. If you happen to open them, do not click any link or attachment they may contain.
4. Regularly Sign On to online banking, so that you can identify any suspicious activity.
5. If you receive an email claiming to be from Mashreq asking for your financial information, please let us know immediately by

   • Calling our 24-Hour Customer Service Centre on +971 (4) 424 4444
